When it comes to chinrests, nothing is more important than comfort. Not all chins are the same and not all instruments are exactly alike.  That's why The Fiddle-Shop has so many styles of standard and carved chinrests for violin and viola. You'll find  styles such as Guarneri, Dresden, Flesh, Teka, Strad, Kaufman, and Hollywood, just to name a few. Some have golden hardware, some have chrome, some are English Hill style, some have U shaped hardware.  Some chinrests set to the side of the tailpiece, and some will ride over the tailpiece. You'll find artistic carvings such as carved hearts, carved flowers, carved birds, and other detailed carved adornments. No matter your taste, you'll find lots to choose from, all are made of very beautiful woods such as ebony, rosewood, and boxwood. All the chinrests are easy to install and very affordable.
